By the way, I also got no more correct checksums for Spybiot 1.3 . I'll try 1.4 instead.

I recently heard of a bug that causes thze "firewall of the NForce4-Chipset" to corrupt downloads. The file size remains the same, but the files are actually corrupted, as the checksum shows. This seems to be only with FTP and the firewall-driver of NVidia. Source : The german mag "c't". It's a serious, well recognized magazine here in Germany, so I consider this serious.


@Plowking : Have you already installed the "Process Explorer" from www.sysinternals.com ? With it you could see what programs are running in the foreground or in the background ...
