I've run both Spybot and PC Cillin Anti-virus without any luck (if you can call bein clean of virus/spyware bad luck <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />). About my sound card, it's a 6-channel soundcard build into my MoBo (Asus K8V deluxe). I think I'll try the systemrestore approach...

BTW The emulators is long since gone, Alrik. Well, not the DOS-emulator, but I doubt it will start this months after I installed it (unless it's REALLY sneaky).

Edit: Checking the System restore points I found a "Software Distribution Service 2.0". Nobody who happens to recognize this/knows what it is?
