I've just read through a thread at a anti-trojan board ... could it be that this is a sevice in modern windows used by trojan-distributors as well ?

And when it is normally allowed in modern windows, does it accept software distributed by this service ?

I'm not sure whether I understood this correctly, I'm still figuring it out ...
