but i would spent abit more on the following things:
instead of a 17" , go for atleast the 19" ,
because you can never spend enough money on the pc screen, because that's wat you look at all the time.
second, sound is also a nice thing, ok if the budget realy is large enough i could only recomment the logitech Z5500 digital, for 280€. and also an creative audigy1 (26€)or the audigy2 soundcard.(59€)
