Washington - US-Präsident George W. Bush schließt einen Militärschlag gegen den Iran nicht aus, falls Teheran nicht umfassend über sein Atomprogramm Auskunft gibt. In einem Interview des US-Senders NBC sagte Bush, er hoffe auf eine diplomatische Lösung, schließe jedoch auch niemals eine andere Option aus. Bush war gefragt worden, ob er sich gegen eine militärische Aktion gegen den Iran ausspreche, wenn Teheran die internationale Gemeinschaft weiterhin über die Existenz eines Atomwaffenprogramms im Unklaren lasse. Das angesehene Magazin "New Yorker" hatte am Montag berichtet, US-Kommandos spähten bereits Angriffsziele im Iran aus.

Der Artikel ist sehr lang, und will auch nicht behaupten das ich ihn komplett verstanden habe.
Aber gerade das zweite Quoting, zeigt das Bush wirklich alles daran setzen wird, in seiner zweiten und letzten Amtszeit, nicht nur den Weg zu bereiten. Sondern auch umzusetzen. Im zweifelsfall müssen wir dann innerhalb der nächsten vier Jahre mit einen Krieg gegen den Iran rechnen.
