Yes I tried disabling just the Direct 3D and then the game won't start. It first asks if I want to reset the configuration settings and I answered with yes and no and I get an error message about a 'Slashed... something file' each time. then when I turn the Direct 3D back on, no problems....except for the skin failure of course.
Completely disabling the hardware acceleration doesn't affect the game. It will start up normally.
Yes I was thinking about such a cheap card and I went looking for one a while back but my old card is a PCI type and apparently they don't make them anymore or are hard to find. They sell PCI Express types now and they don't fit in any of my slots, I tried.
Oh well, I can still play the game with my white characters, lol it's something different for a change. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
