As for what Viper said about the cozy ambience dissapearing, I can say that I wish I had a penny each time I heard that.

That'd be an awful lot of pennies. I think it's something that happns at all forums.

Ah Luc, so dear and not so near, if I knew for sure you would never come back, I would go on Holidays(Vacation) to Greece, if only to hear you talk on the phone (and see those Tat's AND those boots) but in my heart I'll know you will be back .... cause where else can you find such a bunch of overeducated over aged and over exuberous individuals only here my love, and thus eventually you will be back if only to look and then something will catch your eye ... before you know it you will be posting again.

What makes any forum alive - it's members. Without members it is header and footer and ads nothing more.
We just started to getting to know each other. Yes, in RL this goes faster as we use all our sences to get information from and about each other. Here we see only text. It is not animated with eyes emotions, mimics, hands gestures, the only way our partner can animate it is dozen of smilies, btw smilies are often really saviours of the day <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

Why am I writing all this? To say, that let us be loyal towards each other. When someone is writing to you something you don't like, please, do not judge him so easily, he can't see what you are thinking, more of that he can't see you don't like it.

I am writing all this because I feel you are becoming my friends, yes we haven't met, yes great distances are between us, yes we are so different, but nevertheless we have some things in common as we are here, we all like <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" />, we do like RPG's, We can see from this forum that we share many more things. Can I say that some of us have opened ourself to each other, and surely we don't do that every day.

LEt us stay together and for those who are desperate to leave, we will be here, we will be waiting for You.

Lucretia, Viper, Jurak - have your time guys, but know that these forums will lack you greatly. We all will miss you.

After seeking advice from a few friends here, and Mod's come to think of it, I too will be seeking pastures new.
I have taken a short while to think about it and managed to stay away for a few days.
I wil miss all my GOOD friends here and i am not going to name them, hopefully you know who you are. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

Now for the controversial bit, my reason for leaving......It's the new blood so to speak, they have gotten right up my nose and they have been backed up on several occasions by people who i thought were good friends, and i have found it all very irratating, i used to come here for fun interaction, and good comradery, which has sadly been lacking for a while........anyways, i don't want to go on and on, so as one famous person once said..."I am just stepping outside....I may be gone for some time"........ Jurak's message is not very clear. Is it a joke ? Or is he shocked by the leaving message of Luc ?
At first view i thought it was a joke. I sent a PM to Jurak i hope to get an answer soon.

Did Viper say that he is leaving ?
My english is not good but i just understand that Viper is irritated by the kind of "A to Z - One word" threads.
And that he miss the real usual chatting threads in which people exchange points of view.
Since his wedding and his new job, i guess that he does not have a lot of time for the forum and for him it is irritating of not finding a thread in wich he can talk with his friends.
I did not see anything in this post saying that Viper is leaving right now !

Spick's message is clear. He is leaving ! But he said for a few days not definitively !
Spick is a great member here and if he needs to take a break for a few days or a few weeks he really desserves it.

About the recent events


Everybody had been shocked by the bad news about Kyra and everybody felt bad.
The consequence is that the members are more nervous and less tolerant.
People are irritating each other. I have been irritated and probably i have irritated somebody else (i know at least two of my friends that i have irritated.)

It is a new crisis in the forum. But it's not the first one !
Since i am in the forum i saw at least 3 crisis.

The biggest one was in september 2003. It was nearly a war between several members. Great members left or tryed to leave.
The second one was in january 2004. Mysteek upseted everybody in the forum with his spamming. Everybody got nervous and Kiya left for several weeks.

The last one was in july 2004. It was a very big misunderstanding which hurted very much a great member.

All these crisis had an end and later the forum became peaceful again.

To all the members : this crisis will end too and things will be good again.
Don't leave the forum or just take a short break.
