A SPEED SLIDER!!!

Combat happens too fast on my comp (ran about right on my friends) even with 8x Anti-alias and 8x anti-sotropic... The people run too fast... it just messes up the pace of the game and makes it feel jarring and less immersive.

You could play the easiest mode.
If it is still too hard for you, change your computer for an oldest one. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />

Specially for that problem exists a very simple solution:
Just use a PC-Break.

You can find one exemplar under this link:
http://www.lrz-muenchen.de/~leoklein/downloads.html#bremse

But there are many more.

Nevertheless it would be useful, if the game recognizes the Core and regulate the game speed according to its speed. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

I haven't been playing this game long but I've had a few nags with it that don't make the game unplayable it would be more enjoyable if they were changed. One is picking your skills to use as actions. You have to click on the action button then select the skill then use the skill. So now if I have a locked barrel ahead of me I have to go through the skill list pick lockpick then unlock the barrel then make sure to change my secondary action back to my spell so I don't try to unlock the next monster I come upon. I usually have 3 or 4 skills that I use commonly, pickpocket, lockpick, and a spell or two. So having to go through that everytime for each use of each skill becomes tedious. I don't know what buttons you could use for the quick assignment for the skills as the function keys and a few of the numerical keys are taken. Maybe ctrl+numerical keys?
The second thing was specifically for the lockpicking and pickpocketing skill. Can you make it that the member using the skill has to go up to the target to perform the skill? It's not gamebreaking, but for lockpicking I keep trying to do it from across the room, and for pickpocketing it just makes more sense to me that way.
Oh and I don't like it if you give something to the other members they equip it immediately if they can. Usually I shift around equipment alot because of weight issues, not because I want another member to wear or wield it.

You can assign function hotkeys to your most commonly used spells/skills. If you go into the hotkey section of the options, you can reassign some of the default keys to free up the function keys for spells or potions (for example, I freed up F1 to F5 by removing the 'switch leader' key and changing the character selection hotkeys to 1, 2, etc and 'select all' to ` ).
You can also assign ctrl-Fx hotkeys to skills and potions.

Only the right click 'give to' command automatically equips the item, if that is possible. To transfer an item without equipping it, you can drag and drop it into another inventory window, or (more conveniently) onto the character's portrait.

That is exactly what I needed, makes switching from skills much simpler now. I wish that was somewhere in the manual. And I expect moving around the stuff I want to sell will become a little easier now that I know I can move it over to the portrait instead of manually switching the plates from one member to another.
Thanks for the help.
