I have a question- has anybody tried to make a top of the best quests in Divinity? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> I didn't run into such a topic by now and I was just curious. For example, my favourite quests are: rescuing Penumbra (gosh, she always gives you a kiss on the cheek <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> - and you can ask for special treatment afterwards, as well)..., the missions in Nericons Garden (even though the philosophy test should have been a little harder), the one in the Cursed Abbey (great athmosphere down there, reminds me of the Middle Ages <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />), the one with the Three Weapons (Captain! Found the third piece of the puzzle! What should I do with it?)and, of course, the one when you have to torture Janus to the death <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" /> (even though there isn't such a quest)- great voice for that lad! More irritating than himself, that is!...
I didn't like killing the Succubus (interesting creature- can't you make friends with her or something? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ouch.gif" alt="" />), exposing Tingalf (poor fellow, just trying to live a decent life <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sad.gif" alt="" />) and the one with Boratus (he just wanted some more meat for his followers, or his possible children <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />)- great retorts for the Orcs (What does Big Stinking...), for Jake (Nice and cosy in the ground!) and that dragon rider (John, I think)... and the list could continue. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />

Burn FYI: this site doesn't stand/support (?) raw html code...

correct form for entering a link is ['url=...] word ['/url] without the quote before url and end url.

Actually, the forum software does have some support for html code, but you need to select that when you first compose a message. The default is UBBCode, but you can select either code, both or neither (plain text) for a post using the drop-down box just above the text box.
I've used html to post tables, but in most cases UBBCode is easier.

I don't know about best quest, but one of the most memorable for me was the mind controlled soldiers. At first I ran away making sure not to hurt any of them, but then after discovering that I could not get any help, I went back and slaughtered them all for the experience points.

I liked the cattle thief quest, though it would have been nice if quests where you need to choose sides had more of an effect on the main game.
Worst quest was the elf necklace.

No for the moment there is no top of the best quests in Divine Divinity.
There is only a funny top about the most famous help questions.

I did not know that you get the special treatment after freeing Penumbra. I might like to play the game again <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/kissyou.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devil.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/badsmile2.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Was it really 'great' as you say Barta?!
Alas I don't have much time to try it in near future!

You get to see a little more of Penumbra's room and receive experience points with the special treatment, but it is essentially the same fade-out/fade-in as happens requesting the services of any of the other 'employees' there. With Penumbra, though, you are down to 1 hit point when the lights come back up.

@Raze
HP to 1 - did you say?
That sucks really.
I mean does she suck blood (or maybe not blood) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devil.gif" alt="" />?!

And who gives the special treatment while you are playing a female charater?
Don't say it will be Penumbra again - please don't say that - that Penumbra is ... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" />

Let's say that she's - <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" /> - versatile? Adaptive? Widely interested? Responsive to YOUR needs? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" />

Hi Wallace

Dungeon Keeper is one of my favourite games of all the time !
It is a strategy game in which the "bad ones" always win against the "good ones".
There is a lot of humour in this game.
In Dungeon Keeper, there is a very beautiful and sexy female character called "The black mistress".

In Divine Divinity, Penumbra is a thief and she is also...........a mistress ! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />

I will play it sometime then ... for the Black Mistress.
... but I don't promise anything.

I guess it will be hard to find the game too.

They show it in stock at www.amazon.co.uk
Just do an amazon search for Dungeon Keeper.
It will show it, an expansion, and Dungeon Keeper 2.
While supplies last. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />
