A lightbulb produced in about the year 1900 and installed at a fire station in Livermore, California in 1901... is still in use, burning continuously as a night light over the fire trucks: Livermore's Centennial Light
The handblown bulb with carbon filament (approx. 4 watts), made by the Shelby Electric Company, Shelby, Ohio, has survived two moves and several power outages over the years. There was a public celebration of its centenary in 2001.
