LSD is made from lysergic acid, which is found in ergot, a type of fungus.
(Ergot is found in the mould that forms on: especially rye, nuts, pasta, cereals, grains and even alcoholic beverages. Ergot also plays a VERY big roll in alcoholism!!! Luckily for us, ergot is very easy to detox before you consume it... just add 1/4 teaspoon of vitamin C to the product and wait 5 minutes. You wont taste the vitamin C, but it would have killed and detoxed all the ergot and mould in the food. Mould is present in MOST dried foods even when we cant see it. Giving crisp breads or crackers to an alcoholic is extremely unadvised, since it is almost sure to cause a relapse.

This also links to the fact that many people get an almost instant headache from wine.... the ergot levels in wines (especially red) is very high, due to the fermentation process. Adding 1/4 teaspoon of Vitamin C powder to a bottle of wine will remove all the ergot within 5 minutes!!!!! Resulting in no more headaches from wine, as well as the fact that you wont get drunk so easily from wine... ergot + alcohol = a VERY strong intoxication liquid.
