Cocaine used to be sold to cure sore throat, neuralgia, nervousness, headache, colds and sleeplessness in the 1880s.

It was also used as a local anesthetic for painful operations such as eye or dental surgeries. It is the substance that launched the replacement of the comon use of ether.
Cocaine is still used in today's analgesics under the name of Novocaine (or Procaine).

The coca plant was discovered by europeans in the 16th century but it was already long used in the medicine of the native South American peoples.

Not Å, Ä or Ö <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />. And you missed V too (to take more relevant info <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />).

There are no such letters in the Europian alphabet nor in the US alphabet. Maybe they are in the German alphabet, but I don't hear any Germans complain? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
So, the sentence is still right. Maybe you should come up with a sentence that has all the Swedish alphabet letters in it? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" />
