It's like a kind of miniature bench füor the head. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> I've seen Tut's "pillow" in an exhibition here in Bonn. It showed many items from his tomb, among that that "pillow". <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />
I read that african people sometimes use this "bench" even today, because it lifts the head from the ground and thuis protects it from small animals, insects, for example.
