-More people use [color:"blue"] blue toothbrushes, than [color:"red"]red ones

Culprit! <riases hand> How about purple? Would I fit into both categories?

It really has to do with the colours. Blue is seen as a peacefull colour, while red is seen as an agressive colour.
Humans research about everything. It's proven fi that athletes in a red outfit do better than athletes in outfits in other colours. Even the same athlete will win more/do better when he/she 's wearing red than when he/she 's wearing another colour. Not becouse he/she got better but becouse red makes a strong, agressive, impression on the opponents. And they don't perform so well.
It doesn't make a big difference ofcourse. But it is really true. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

And most people don't like agressive toothbrushes. So... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
