Strange that a few years ago there was a statistic done about colors in Restaurants, and it was found that Restaurants with red "toned/hued" colors where more attractive, due to the fact that it relaxed ppl more <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
I dunno Mea. But traditionally the colour red is asociated with blood, violence, agression, ... the devil even. Just look at the smileys here fi. The red coloured ones are all asociated with devlish or sad/mad feelings. And I read about similar studies. They all say you better have mild, light colours up. Also in the bedroom of peoples houses fi. Better no red there too.
