Some more cow facts:

Cows like to lay down 8 to 14 houres a day. They are almost constantly in a half awake, half asleep state. And almost never really sleep.
In a year a cow will drink about 31,000 liters of water en eats about 6,500 kg of dry food. (There's no figure on how much grass they consume on top of that)
In return it will produce 7,500 kg of milk. And also 135 cubic meter methane and 140 kg nitrogen (in gas <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />)
Also in return you'll get about 23,500 kg dung and urine.
Cows like to be in group. Isolated a cow gets scared and mentally ill. They can completely freak out.
A healthy calf will be about 40 kg when it's born.
