editing a posty there... it seems it has duplicate the first post and edited on the double <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

100% sure I didn't, or it would have been featuring after Seth's last post.

And I'm quite sure too there was originaly no double post as the number of posts in the thread was incremented after my edit (then there was no new posts though).

maybe it was very isolated though.

Maybe a general look into the server helps ? There are a few oddities now ... for example that the forum doesn't sometimes update the number of unread posts when someone is hopping between English-language and German-language parts of the forum (especially with two or more windows open).

That doesn't only happen when you change between languages, Alrik.
It happens often.

has there been a change in the forum err.... 'engine' lately? so far i have been opening two windows or tabs of the forum & posting in eahc of them without problem. my browser's Mozilla.

It doesn't seem to be browser related.
I experienced it in different browsers.
And most of the time it was worst in mozilla.

I have no problem with mozilla firefox...

See me edit wiith no problems...

In the german part we have this discussion too.
And like Seth is saying, there are many different Browser in use.
I use AOL and have still the same problem.

The prob for me is not thar I miss out on most posts. But knowing you, you maybe anounce the releace of <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" />2. And that...;) you know.

for the edit problem it happened to me once and only once without being able to reproduce it anywhere... without rincewind i will begin to wonder if i was not dreaming <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

I guess it had to do with two persons posting or editing something at exactly the same time, no matter how strange this sounds.

This is the only way I could imagine such a "mix-up".

I've found if you log out and then log back in it corrects itself.
