When i said : "the dutch speaking people refuse to talk in french, they prefer to talk in english."
It was not only for you.
I was thinking about Morbo, the bean, Joliekiller, Viper, Tovi, etc.
I was also thinking about the people i met in the flamish part of Belgium.
Except the people working in the restaurants and the hotels, no other people could speak in french.

Another exemple : joliekiller gave me the phone number of the tourism office at Oudenaarde (toerisme@oudenaarde.be).
When i called the tourism office, it was closed and there was only a registered message in dutch on the phone.
No message in french. No message in english.
This does not help a lot the poor foreign tourists !

The belgium people learn dutch and french at school.
Why do they talk only in dutch in one part of Belgium and only in french in the other part of Belgium ?
