I'm currently playing Siege Of Avalon, and found out here's something uniwque to this game : You've got to find your way (home) !
I mean, it's like a riddle : You play to a great deal within a *huge* fortress with several staircases, but to get into sdifferent areas (there areas within the fortress are separated through thick walls), you've got to find the *right* staircase. Makes this game a bit into a riddle-game.
So in fact you've got to run around a bit and probe every staircase to see whether it leads to where you wanna go.
I haven't see this yet with other RPGs. Sure, you've got to explore here and there, but IÄve never seen a game so far that allows someone to proceed only after the right passage (here : staircase) has been found.
When you find a big kettle of crazy, it's best not to stir it. --Dilbert cartoon
