How about flying squirrels? Evil undead ones, with poison claws. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" />

I saw a story on the TV show Daily Planet about a type of snake that can jump out of trees and glide a fair distance (short blurb). Flying Snake FAQ

How about giant robots, who's boots turn into jets? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />

The Dark Crystal had creatures which looked like Bats, but had a splinter of a crystal instead of a big eye in their "head". This acted like kind of what we would call a camera, which showed the Skesis in their hall everything that bat alaso "saw".

So it was kind of a magical creature : Half life-form, half crystal. Not able to reporoduce, but able to show its "superiors" everything it "saw". I guess it had no real own "will" either.

a one legged flying creature(green in colour) with one eye and sharp teeth aka heljaks.

a no legged flying animal with just muscle(red in colour) and no skin but with crocodiles( no teeth it swallows its victim whole like a snake and digests it) jaw..when on the ground it just sides along. aka hyhrids.

In <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> there was something mentioned of hawkmen.

I like the phoneix idea..when dies it explodes...dealing fire damage.

A very advanced (advanced in terms of programming) thing could be a swarm of crying birds : They cry when they fly over the hero's head, and through their noise they warn animals and attrackt foes ... Like in real life. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

Or it could be that their cry reduces your hearing to 0..and hence you will lose sound and people will claim its a bug..like halbrad of the rock.

I think, hearing should correspond with the volume of the game. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> Hearing of 0 - everything is quiet ... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

Hmmmmmm

Flying creature..i suppose you could have a bat like winged creature with black fur...body of a horse and head of black cat....

The eyes should be green and there should be a dragons tail at the end instead of a horse's tail.
