What are your favorite monsters from DD and BD?

- Death Knights
- Dragon Riders
- Succubus
- Humans (thugs, bandits, soldiers,...)
- Bees and wasps (just because it's such a fantastic idea to end up in a small world inside an orb)
- The Slayer

What about some kind of wookie monsters some very very very large centipede or worms (almost dragon like), a scaled merman (no make that mermaid ) mermaid/ merman riding on shark (if we are going under water), demon-ape, werewolves or a wolf/man hybrid, corrupted ranaar, demon of lies, Valkyrie or some flying woman, Medusa,...

ps: Will we see a sea or go underwater? and if so maybe a new race (or lizzards) under water? (dwarfs -> mountais, elf -> forrest, human -> cities, imps -> demon dimension, orcs -> ???, lizzards -> swamp)
Ps ps: Any chance of seeing the cover of again on ˛ or in the game?
Ps ps ps: Started playing again, will post is if I see a enemy I liked.

I like that! Could be very impressive! First this large thing crawls towards you, then lifts a part of its body in the air, thus towering above you. Yes, could really work.

In early earth's history, there have been indeed centipedes with a length of 2 Metres and longer. Fossils indicate to that.

Fav monsters...

Skeletons..early on.. and the skeleton conjurers.

Zombies for slightly later enemies and the human thugs..bandits etc..gives a good feel or an rgp to see evil humans.

This time around maybe the zombie has a chance of draining mana/stamina when it hits you...a slight variation which i would welcome.

The variations e.g steel skeleton was something i wasnt looking forward to see but in BD the blood/death knights were great though and in my view could take thier place...afterall the death/blodd knights do work under a sorcerer...So the sorcerer could be another boss game.

The Arch demon in BD is a really good boss monster to have i feel or the dragonriders are good tough opponents.

Its nice having to kill the bees/wasps/snakes/beetles and other nasty insects.

I assume we shall see orcs, lizards, dwarves and elves this time around??? and also a ranaar or two?

It would be interesting to see friendly imps/lizards and orcs this time around.

If of course all these become friendly we do need new monsters!!!!

The various elemental's were interesting in BD but maybe this time they are under a command of another being...racial wise a new sort of monster?

Oh yes...we must bring back a talking tree

The tatuman i prefer greatly but the lich wasnt a bad monster..maybe it needs another ability???

The sand demons etc were not bad.

I recently read an article about "Kult : The Herectic Kingdom".

What I found highly creative there is the "attunement"-system for things you can do magic with.

Hello, everyone.

Although it's quite old now, I'm always astonished of the "object model" - that's how I call it - of the game called "Nox".

Enemies, for example - undead ones in particular - can become a mass of bones, when defeated. That means, that each bone is an individual enity, and bones can (in one casein an underground cave) even be arranged to form special signs - an arrow in this case.

Well, the bones are simplified, of course, measured against real life, but they appear "real" enough to make them recognizable as bones from different body parts.

On the other hand, it is not possible to actually grab a bone and use it as a tool or as a weapon. These bones are seemingly not meant to be used as such (flags ?).

Yesterday I plkayed a little bit further on, and what astonished me was the trace of powerder that led to a bunch of barrels with a sign for explosives on it.

What I *really* found astonisching was the fact that the character could cast a fireball on this line of powder, and this ighnite it - and the fire followed that powder-trail to the barrels !.

I don't remember having seen such a thing before.

This detonation removed a part of a wall in that cave, which led to an newly-opened mini-"room" there. Upon entering, a message appeared on the screen saying, that an "secret area" had been discovered - which resulted in a plus of experience points.

I liked that.

What i didn't like, though, was the difficulty level, overall.

That shows a lot of eye for detail, always a plus in any game.

Yes, by the way, Nox was made by Westwood, the company known for C&C. But they did also three adventure-gems : The Kyrandia Saga.
