Hi! I'm new to playing the game, Got it when I bought Beyond Divinity, because I don't play a sequel without the first, and I have a few questions I can't find answers to by searching thusfar, and really don't want walk throughs or spoilers to ruin the fun yet.
1. If I have items I cannot use yet, but don't want to lose them or sell them, is there a place to store them? Is it safe to leave them laying in the abandoned house I found a key for? (In Aleroth I think it is called.) I have seen it said to get a chest to keep them in, where do I get one? The chest/barrel idea implies I won't lose the items, but I would like confirmation before I do it and lose them.
2. This is by far the most important question. I am having serious problems being able to see anything in the game, due to light/contrast vision problems I have. I raised the gamma to max in the game and on my monitor, that has helped a little. But, I cannot turn the view, nor see very well, and that is driving me bonkers. Are there tips to seeing things other than the alt key? The alt key does not highlight levers unfortunately, and I can't see them very well in the catacombs either.
3. Last question. People say they marked the location of the barracks on my map. However, when I open the map, and even zoom out all the way, I don't see anything marked. It didn't come with any maps or even a printed manual, since it was a free inclusion with Beyond Divinity, but even the pdf manual didn't really address this. Thanks in advance for any insights you can give.
