My main concern is the security risk involved. I am concerned about the
the information that they can collect from us not only by way of the Gmail
accounts, but even through Google as your search engine and they fact they
hold on to it for an indefinite period of time.

Seriously, it's not like anyone here has a criminal past to hide. What can be collected on you through email/search engine?
Or do you think they will black-mail you?
I see what Shan is talking about. I think she ment that she doesn't want the "Big Brother" kinda things. I like my privacy too, and I don't want anyone to get in to my computer by any means. Not everyone uses his computer for gaming only, some of us may use it for more serious matters.
