on peanut butter here in sweden it says: MAY contain nuts.

This is a rather technically warning : There ARE people out there with Allergies with nuts. Especially what I know as "erdnuß", don't know the appropriate nglish name.

It's a real warning in this case, although quite technical.

When you find a big kettle of crazy, it's best not to stir it.

Yes, but Alrik, when you buy erdnuss, you don't whant to bu warned that what you buy MIGT contain traces of erdnuss, do you? If they put this on cornflakes, it's pretty reasonable, but when they put it on a pacageof erdnuss, then...

That one is pretty reasonable. For the same reason drinking distilled water can kill you. That's one of the very few things I can remember from chemistry lessons.

Yes, explain that to me too if you like? Because I'm supposed to be dead by now. I drank a lot of distilled water when I was a child. My mother was always wondering where all that water went when she wanted to iron. I liked it so much because it's softer then tapwater. Maybe that is why I have such a strong stomic??

When I posted that about the distill water I didn't get it either.

Flash, can you explain to us why distill water is dangerous to your eyes and if
swallowed?

Hey guys, I just found this on distilled water. If anybody is interested
here's the link. It answers some of the questions we've been asking about
why distilled water is dangerous.

Distilled Water

Edit -> Great going Seth. You beat me. Mine is a different link though, but
I think they both say practically the same.

Hmm, thanks for those links. I always thought that drinking (lots of) destilled water would more or less instantly kill you. That's what I learnt in chemistry.
Obviously you shouldn't trust your teachers too much.
I thought that the destilled water would destroy the cells because of the effect leeching minerals from them. Or whatever.
But I do remember somebody asked if it would be OK, to eat salt lots of minerals to stop the effect after drinking destilled water, and our teacher answered it would possibly be better to go to the hospital.
Obviously Galadriel is the living proof that our teacher was not quite correct on that instance. But still drinking it doesn't seem that good an idea, as Shantara's article points out.

on a side note,
if you drink destilated water (demin water) you get "the runnings" (=flying sh-it)

edit: i'm just been promoted to warlord, man what does time fly )

Hmmmmmm, you may be right there, Hands. I didn't think about that. Someone might
try to use it to stand on to reach something. 12 inches would be like standing
on a low stool.
