I drank a lot of distilled water when I was a child. My mother was always wondering where all that water went when she wanted to iron. I liked it so much because it's softer then tapwater. It answers some of the questions we've been asking about why distilled water is dangerous. Distilled Water Edit -> Great going Seth. Flash old hand Joined: Mar 2003	Hmm, thanks for those links. I always thought that drinking (lots of) destilled water would more or less instantly kill you. That's what I learnt in chemistry. Obviously you shouldn't trust your teachers too much. I thought that the destilled water would destroy the cells because of the effect leeching minerals from them. Or whatever. But I do remember somebody asked if it would be OK, to eat salt lots of minerals to stop the effect after drinking destilled water, and our teacher answered it would possibly be better to go to the hospital. Obviously Galadriel is the living proof that our teacher was not quite correct on that instance. But still drinking it doesn't seem that good an idea, as Shantara's article points out.
