Having just done fire warden training, I can see the signifigance in that one. You need to be within a couple of meters of the fire for them to work at all. It's certainly close enough to be uncomfortably hot. I reckon if someone was in line-of-sight of a fire, they'd use it like a hose and squirt from too far away.
Uh, I've used the CO2 extinguishers to instantly chill beer.
I guess I'm the reason why there's a label on the extinguisher.
