Ok, here it goes.
This recipe is so easy and yet so delicious. I can't cook either, but this is one that can't go wrong.
What you need: An oven (how did you know??) warm it up to 200°C
400 g flower (use the pasteryflower) Is it the right word?
400 g of eggs (use them completely, you don't have to split the eggwhites or so)
400 g of sugar
400 g of butter (if you like you can use soya-butter or any other lightproduct, it doesn't make any difference in taste)
3 packs of vanille-sugar (about 8g per pack)
1 pack of backing powder (about 16 g per pack)
50 g of chocolatepowder (you have to use the one that you need for chocoalte milk, with the sugar allready in it, we have brands like Nesquick)
(If you like you can try it out with chocolatechips, or little pieces of chocolate, raisins or nuts)
Way of work: warm up your butter, not cooking or it will turn brown and that gives a very bad taste to your cake. Mix your butter with your sugar, vanillesugar and all the eggs. Then you put in your flower and your backingflower also. you have to mix it very good, so no clumps will appear (you can use a mixer for that)
Split your dow in half and use one half to mix it with the chocolatepowder. Poor the white dow in your backingshape you first make your shape greasy with butter or use backingpaper, I'm not a fan of the paper) and then poor the brown dow over your white. Put it in your oven and turn your oven on 180°C. Let it bake for 45min., after the 45 min. you have to use a wooden stick to poke in the cake. If there is nothing sticking on the stick, your cake is ready.
Let it cool daown a little while and take it out of the form on a nice plate. If you like you can put some white powdersugar on it, or poor some melted chocolate over it. Just experiment with all the good stuff there is!!
Good luck and Bon appetît!!
BTW: If any words aren't correct, please exept my appologies and you may correct them any time!
