a cute 'little' story by the way.
The story was NOT little by any standards. I would put it this way:
It is a lengthy story of a cute little girl. They could have cut down on the childhood part or maybe skipped it.
And "mercie" (pronounced the same as merci) also means the same as in english
So mercie means mercy in English. I don't think so. I have heard that Mercie was also a french artist
