Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Act II BF... Keith disappears on me

I've finished the quest and found what he was looking for, but he's invisible on my screen. Is it possible I ticked him off? There was one incident where I didn't mean to talk to him, and I just chose the last conversational dialog option without reading it (wondering if that was an insult). Regardless, now I can't train to increase lockpicking

Unfortunately this happend once in a while....

There are 2 easy ways to get past this....

1. Alt tab out of the game a couple of times and go back.... (the NPC's tend to move slightly down or left every time you press alt tab. so when you do this a couple of times, you can move Keith out from where he is hiding).

2. You can learn the tracking skill, and then find Keith and speak to him. As soon as you manage to click on him, he will jump back to an area where he is accessable.

Does he show up on the mini-map?

You can hex edit his location if alt-tabbing doesn't help, or just skip that BF quest.
Teleporting anywhere (via hex editor)

As for training, the imp Taxlehix teaches Lockpick to level 10, which is higher than Keith can teach in acts 1-3. You will meet Tax again near the end of act 2, and again at the beginning of act 3.
