Hmm if i remember correct u could get 3 items out of the sacrifice: a sword, an amulet or an ??? (is there i thirth one i thought so but i could be rong)

The third one you can get out of the sacrifice is a dagger.

i guess its not good for a mage?

Actually it could be very good for a mage. There are some that used nothing else up to the end.

As a back-up weapon, when out of mana (bad logistics for a mage), and with magic amplifiers as Frost, Stun, Poison, and/or Mana-Leech, strengthened by "Assassin's Kiss" it can be very effective.

ahaha thats a good one mate im a mage and im lv 20 i dont frikin hit enemy's
i put magic and such things on em (mage doesnt fight melee, altough normaly)

first of all mana drain doesnt give alot mana
second ur death before u now it if u go melee
thirth i then always run away and take a nap

ye i just take a weapon that gives magic or inteligence or skills
and rest of stuff the same i dont use any weapon i kill em all with
my spells and its working great even mutch better than warrior
i sumon skeletal wall to keep enemy at distance also use freeze
then i shoot at em maybe even later gonna curse em to
but for now it workin great
i have shield +1 freeze
boots +1 sumon mastery
belt +1 freeze
some other stuff i dont remember well
i dint now this is so special i thought everyone did this
i thought that thats what mages are for
i now got 525 mana or so and 330 life
