My native language is Swiss German. And yours is French? Is swiss german really different from german ? I have swiss friends who live around Geneve and Montreux and their french is exactely the same than the french which is talked in France. Yes my native language is french and it is also my favourite language. It is much richer than english.

Like Glance wrote, there are quite different dialects in German. And when I speak mine, people from Germany won't understand that much. Actually, I don't even understand all of the Swiss German dialects completely... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />
