What's the point of getting the owner of AM (can't remember his name) out of his shop by letting the bard who's standing outside sing? I was always curious about that since there is nothing of great value in the shop.
It's so you can run into his back sleeping room real quick and steal a couple of things. Like a Higher Level spell book and in the locked chest there is usually a pretty powerful Dagger.
