So I'm not shure I'm going to post too much this weekend. But it's usually pretty quiet on weekends, so I guess you won't mind.

We've finally got the internet to work (well, it worked before, but only for the pepole who played WoW <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />).

I think it's a good idea not to drink Coke! Bloody vile stuff. Give me scotch and Pepsi Max any day!

Ubereil, I am assuming this is a home lan that you are setting up?
How many computers are you attaching to it?

Erm... I don't drink scotch or Pepsi Max either... I'm a milk drinker, to be honest (still growing...).

And I didn't create the lan, a friend did. It's about 13 pepole here, and we're finally starting to get everything to work. For the moment I have nothing to do, because everyone else is playing poker (and NOT online, REAL poker. On a LAN! Shocking...).

What did you have to do to get your computer hooked up on it?

Lan poker, huh? Well, I guess if you want to play poker and can't get together a

Are you looking forward to being able to play alot of games this way?
It sounds great to me.

We have a home lan and I love it when a couple of us can get together and play
a game sitting in the same room so we can talk about what we want to do with
the phone or Skype. Lan games are fun alot better than online games to me. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Ooooooooooo, I'm not good at FPS' especially when they are group played. I get

Alot of times if I play them by myself I can eventually beat them, but it can
take alot of reloads. My reflexes are to slow for games like that. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />

Well, our internet connection is not really working properlly (well, of an hour it works fine 55 minutes and not at all the other five). I tried to play a agme of DotA online, and right when I started to do fine, get some hero kills, some nice items I got disconnected <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ouch.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />.

13 people is what I call a Mini lan. 50 users is what I call a LAN.

Ha Lan parties, 3 day and nights of red bull, fast food, bloodshot eyes, compo's.

Poker is quite often played at lans (since I bring the chips). Normally there is no internet conection in a lan so you are lucky there is one at all.

PS: the most silly games on a lan are the most fun. You can say what you want but when the crouwd had a coupple of beers (it's a party) worms world party is so much more fun. Who needs UT when you got WWP.

Well, anyway, the LAN is over now (only one night...). We didn't drink any beer... And I didn't eat any fast food...

And yes, you can call it a mini-LAN (50 pepole shareing a 8 mb connection <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ouch.gif" alt="" />), but I didn't mind. It was just enought pepole to do whatever you want, but on the same time it wasn't so many it was crowdy (in Sweden we have a word, lagom, which doesn't exists in other countries. That's the word I would use to describe this LAN. It was only one day though...

Now I'm set up in my room again btw.
