According to WB, the Looney Tunes are getting a facelift for the new century.
I am not particulary happy of the result but be the judge for yourself. To see the sneak peak, do the following:

I just read the link and I guess I can see where they are coming from.
Our kids don't know Bugs, Daffy and all the gang like we do. They aren't
attached yet, so with all of the other superhero stuff out there the new look
will probably be a big hit.

I'm still not crazy about the idea. I like the old ones. I think I will always
like the old ones better, but you can't hold on to the old if you want to move
forward. Sometimes changes have to be made and I guess that is where they are

Sorry, Shantara, but Marvel is in jeopardy too. They are losing stock and the only thing which saves the company for now, is that they are selling movie licenses. If not for them, Marvel would've followed Chaos! comics. I guess the main reason for Loonatics is not superhero comics but the high-tech universe we're living in.

I liked the "Tiny Toons" mich better ! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" /> In the 90s I think there was a video released - Tiny Toons and some advnture on vacation (don't remember the complete title anymore). If you can get it, you should get it <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> , so to say. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

It was *very* funny (meanwhile weird), and was directed by Steven Spielberg. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

(Spielberg = Spiel = game, Berg = mountain or sometimes high hill (it's a German name) . )

By the way, the WB toons in the 70s were considered quite brutal here in Germany, that's why I don't like thm even now. I always considered their kind of slapstick humour as quite brutal, like Tom & Jerry as well (not always, but sometimes).
