Well Shan, you never heard of the Benny Hill show? Or Benny Hill's comedy? Never saw "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang"? Maybe he wasn't popular in America, my mother used to call this kind of humour "pis en kak humor" (something like pee and poop humour) it was funny but not for everyone, it's English humour. I hope you know more about him now.
