@ Üb First of all, Übereill, you should read before you answer. Since a few of us wanted to see the Ardennes first, I thought it would be better to go at some other time and switch the city for nature. @ Alrik So, after we saw the Ardennes, we will move on to Gent and Oudenaarde and Antwerp. That way we can continue towards Limburg, the last region of Belgium. And since we are then finished in Belgium, we can either go to France to see more of what we missed or we can go to Germany where Alrik and Stone can be our guides. But first things first, now we are in the Ardennes. @ Seth You can take them along with you to the castle of Bouillon if you like, I'm not the only one that is playing guide here. Let them show that you are also proud of your motherland. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Pfff, I'm very tired from that kayaking. Anyone in the mood for real Belgian fries with Carbonades à la flamande? Tomorrow it will be 175 years of the Belgian Dynasty . I think that calls for a celebration!! What about visiting our very own Champ de Bataille de Waterloo with a proud Lion. 226 steps untill you reach the proud statue. On this page typically Belgian you can read more about the battle of 1815. I did my best to search for everything in English. So have fun!!
