Ich konnte das neue Doppelalbum von Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds noch nicht oft genug anhören, um ein endgültiges Urteil zu fällen. Aber mein erster Eindruck: Beide CDs sind nicht so grandios wie sein vorletztes Album "No more shall we part". Aber beide sind wieder einmal sehr gut und umfassen zahlreiche Highlights.
Die erste CD, "Abattoir Blues", ist dabei etwas wilder ausgefallen, während "The Lyre of Orpheus" mehr Balladen enthält.
Für Cave-Fans jedenfalls unverzichtbar.

Ich denke, dieser Beurteilung kann ich in jedem Punkt zustimmen. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" /> Allerdings muß ich noch hinzufügen, daß ich die Verpackung sehr gut finde. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />
