on behalf of other catholics (never mind the french, they're only taunting u),

i accept the condolences.

the Pope was a good dude; did a lot of good work but sadly media like his death more than his good deeds. can anyone remember the death of princess diana which was about the same time as mother teresa? well the good woman was overshadowed by royalty glam death. people all over the world cried for diana while the woman who worked her butt off taking care of impoverished kids in india was very much ignored except among those who noted her good works.

still i hope the Pope's death will highlight his good works, not how he kept people in suspense with dead/almost dead status.

just like Barta, i am not sad of his passing. the dude suffered enough & God says it's time for retirement in heaven, JP2 went woohoo! & left the world for good. i cannot ask for a better way to go than to heaven. he has fought a good fight & kept the faith. God bless JP2. may he rest in peace.

ok, MG, what other serious thought u have that we can put in the argumentative git thread or is it too scientific?

@ Barta & Gal -> of course long live the new Pope!
