I hate them because they are far too slow. I am a huge RTS fan, and I'm used to moving armies around the screen rapidly in response to an immediate threat. You can imagine the challenge level I do NOT feel when the game pauses to allow me all the time in the world to make a move...

I completely agree. I thought it was the best thing since Torment to start with. Loved it to bits. Then the last part bored me half to death...
