I found Septera Core a couple years ago in a local store (bundled with a giant robot shooter game that I never opened). It is still available on eBay, and amazon.com has a list of companies with new and used copies.
Currently, there only seems to be one copy of Evil Islands
on eBay (in the UK, even).
I played the Dungeon Siege demo and found it far too linear with almost no quests or character interaction. I got it as a gift the Christmas after it was released, but still haven't opened it.
Another game I haven't gotten around to yet (though I plan to eventually) is
Summoner.
Siege of Avalon - ok - You start of in a castle running around talking to people and getting very basic equipment and some training in various skills. For the most part you will need to loot defeated opponents for better equipment. About half way through the game looting became pointless, since I had already found as good as I was going to get. All armour has a stealth quality (ie stronger armour is noisier), which effects how well opponents can detect you (I used the strongest armour I could, and trained in skills to offset the penalties).
Originally this game was downloadable (in 6 'chapters'), but that is no longer the case (though you can still download the first chapter for free). After that it was released on CD, which is still available. A Linux port is being developed.
