the speed slider is ok but it slows everything down to a crawl. so it's great that the enemies are slowing down. butto have your character slowing down as well, i don't think it matter much when most of the time u cannot outrun them unless u do invest in increasing your speed. the safest way is to stand near to the point that takes u to another location so when things get too hot (which is always), u can jump out of it.

it's been quite sometime since i last played Lionheart so my info may not be accurate. to kill boredom, i would just hack the game & played around with some values.
