I suggest you make a decision - as writer in a multi-author story you should be like a member of an emergency room team - committed to keep the patient alive.

{And before any complain - yes, this is not my story concept, and yes, I did not commit myself with a character (because I am committed to OTRA, which is running since 22 Mar 2004 without interruption and still moving on). But this concept here has so much potential, and is so open, that it would be sad to see it die}
