Draggy, u can always PM me in regards to SoH info but i think i want to run my parallel universe story on Manatopia which is totally unrelated to what is going on but also in the same universe.

i may or may not post it here but elsewhere. don't know where to post it actually. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

What about just some snippets posted to add athmosphere ? For example how the people behave in the streets, how daily work goes etc. ...

Hurray for Nero & Lady_Rain & HandEFood & those who put the machine back to work!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/party.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hug.gif" alt="" />

Anyone who would want to set up Karatunga, it's ok with me as I don't want to slow anyone who would like to create; I won't be much active on forum before at least after Christmas holidays. Contact me if you'd like, I had ideas and gathered infos to set it up as nation based on pre-contact (with Europeans) native peoples of America.

Hello everybody,

I'm wondering if there is any serious interest in resurrecting or restarting this story? Many of the forum members put a significant amount of work into developing the game world. I've always had this world sitting in the back of my mind. I consider it one of the best game-design accomplishments I've had in about 10 years, and I have the input and support of everyone here to thank for that. If people decide that the game will not continue here, I'm tempted to move it to another site, perhaps RPG Forums Online, although I'd happily take suggestions of other, more refine role-playing sites that would be interested.

Another option is restarting the game and I could take the role of game master, creating a world for a team of players. I'd flesh out the character creation using a diceless system based on one of MysterD's systems.

How would you like to proceed with the game? I'm wide open to suggestions.

I really liked it. I would like to restart it, since personally I don't remember the details, lol.

If you DO decide you need a new home for it, HEF, is there any reason not to use my forum? The RPG section there is designed for this kind of thing, after all <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Only problems might be if there are parts not in English (ProBoards rules don't allow that) or if the game is R rated.

Other than that... Well, it's your call <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

What's R rating ?

R = Rolling dice ?

R = Restricted - IE adults.

Sorry, Alrik. Didn't think when I used that one. Should have explained it <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

My forum generally is 'PG-ish' as you know - which is Parental Guidance: in other words it may not always be safe for children and parents should use their discretion.

Anything that isn't gonna be too adult is fine.

Thanks, Elliot. By the way, I meant to use your name rather than MysterD's in my post. I don't know why I got the two of you mixed up. I want to see how your game takes off on your forum before I move this one there. While there are dedicated players there, there may not be enough to run a game.

Just out of interest: Australian Censorship Classifications and American Censorship Classifications. Unfortunately there's no R or above classification for games in Australia, probably due to the interactive nature of the medium. This means we never see a number of violent titles, which is probably not such a bad thing.

Now before I go completely off topic...

Probably coz D & I are both computer geeks, HEF! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Right now I'm not sure there are enough interested players on my board, I must admit. It's not looking good for my SF game. If Manatopia is Fantasy, you might get a better uptake - or not, I'm not really sure.

If you can drum up more players and drag 'em kicking & screaming into Chaos, though, feel free <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Manatopia is pseudo-fantasy. It's a magical modern setting, early 1900s Earth, with only humans by default. Technology level is mostly magical and steam but is progressing to radioactive substances. Mutants, aliens, and alternately evolved beings are perfectly acceptable.

I forgot to say, anyone else who is interested is most welcome to join!

Why are people talking about rated R now? Did I miss something?
