Why are people talking about rated R now? Did I miss something?

I had no idea what it was, Lews, so I had to clarify <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Be very bad of me to offer the use of my forum then retract it if the content was wrong, wouldn't it?

And while I like your forums alot, I don't see why we need to move it over there.

Lews

Oh, I didnt read your mention of rated R earlier.

The reason I suggested moving the story is to find a different group of people who might be interested in playing, in the case of there being a lack of interest from Larian members. There are a few members at Elliot_Kane's forum that aren't here.

Actually, you have a point, Lews. We don't need to move the story off site because other members can come here. Do you know anyone who'd be interested in joining in this story from another forum or community?

Combining groups is a good plan, but there is actually a very good reason to move Manatopia to another site if HEF intends to GM - which is that he'll need Moderator powers for easy access to all posts and character sheets in the game.

A GM may never need to make adjustments at all, but it makes things a whole lot easier if the option is there.

If it's going to be more like a collaborative story, there's no need to move at all, of course.

HEF - may I suggest PMing all past Manatopia players to try to spark their interest again? A lot of Larian members seem to visit rarely, but many do seem to respond to PMs still.

3 years is just to long ago, go ahead if you wish, but I won't develop my char any further. It has been a lonely story for him until now so you won't have any problems leaving him out.

Having thought of this concept to be rather totally abandoned, I had developed a new concept for my character which was very close to the one I had initially thought.

So - I don't mind, inpriinciple. MIght only be a bit weird for me, having him to "play" on two worlds at the same time. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> So to say. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

Oh well. With a total of two responses (plus a potatoe), I'm guessing there's too little interest to continue the story here. I may try moving it to another site when I make the time to find one. I'll let you know if it does move.

Thanks again for everyone who helped create an excellent start to the story.

hey HEF & everyone!

sorry for being under the radar for so long. my current situation doesn't allow me to be online as i hardly have time for that & also i have no net connection.

in regards to Manatopia, HEF, u have full control over the content, that is no contest. i opted for a restart though i can't commit myself in it. at least not now. i hope to be able to be back online with all of u once i'm more stable financially.

till then, happy gaming & way to go, HEF.

p/s: love your ava. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />

I just found this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castle_Falkenstein_(role-playing_game)

It's an RPG setting/system, which reminds me losely of Manatopia.

The greatest difference is that this is a kind of steampunk setting instead of mana/magic. But if you switch both, it comes closer to Manatopia.
