I installed Divine Divinity again and for some reason the game runs very slowly, not at all like it used to! This problem combined with the Beyond Divinity one makes up for a strange situation, doesn't it? I mean these are the only two games I have a problem with. The only thing I can think of that sets them apart from the rest is that they have 2d elements in them (well that and the fact that Divine Divinity is the best game ever of course! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/kitty.gif" alt="" />).
I guess the 2d take to the problem is a pretty stupid conclusion, but my knowledge of the technical elements of games is, to use an understatement, limited. I know the first things that should come to mind are Direct X and graphics drivers, and they did. I have the latest of all of those and I've tried many other suggestions, graciously provided by Lady_Rain and Raze.
Perhaps this predicament rings a bell? Anyone is welcome to share his/her thoughts!
