Checked the Dorak keyboards layout.
Dvorak, not Dorak. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />
In the Siemsns-Nixdorf-Museum for Computers in Paderborn, Germany, I learned that the keyboard layout has historical reasons.
There were better layouts, but the one which sold most because sort of an "industry-standard". <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> And that was back in the times of the earliest typewriter machines !
We have inherited our "western" keyboard layout from these early typewriter machines. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
