I just guess it's a kind of advertisement. So why not ? Larian has it, too ( <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beyond.gif" alt="" /> ) and I guess they just needed the money.
To me, it's a kind of advertisement, especially since I cannot look into the code and therefore can't say whether it has *really* been optimized for NVidia (or AT, on the other side). <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />
