The cat is in the cellar of the merchant guild.
To get the key of the cellar, first you have to join the merchant guild.

You can't get into this locked room but you can get the things in the chests by using the telekinesy skill.

Thanks Barta!!!

I really dont know if I couldve gotten this far without the help of this forum. I love the game so far much more than Diablo 2 however I have to admit one of the drawbacks to this game is that certain quests seem to be a little weird to solve.

Have you played the next game? And is it similar to this?

Thanks again!!!

Actually, you can get into the sealed room by tossing a teleporter stone through either of the gates.

Beyond Divinity is similar to Divine Divinity, though if you expect them to be very close you might be disappointed. There is a demo if you want to check it out (there were some changes and additions made after the demo was released). BD is divided into 4 acts, so it is less open than DD. The first act is relatively linear and mostly hack and slash, but later acts have more freedom of exploration and variety of quests. The skill system is much more flexible (some think too flexible is a couple cases), with books or teachers to make skills available, rather than character level requirements. Combat is similar, though controlling 2 (or more) characters can add a bit of complexity, depending on the situation.

Thanks Raze.

Im not sure if I am just having a real blonde moment or what but I am kinda confused. If the cat is in the merchant cellar why am I down in Verdist Sewer? It seems to go on FOREVER & I havent found anything all that interesting. What am I missing?

Also Im walking around with all this $$ and nothing of interest to buy. Am I missing a cool merchant?

Thanks for your help AGAIN!!!! Im kinda new to these games. I have only played Diablo 1 &2. And sacred .. and Dungeon Seige ...so far I am enjoying this game alot but it just seems that I get confused alot.

There were some maps down in the sewers IIRC. Otherwise you're just supposed to collect exp, I think. I got a bit tired of fighting in this stage of the game...

And those games you mentioned was action-rpg's, which IMHO is a totally different genre (well, not totally, but... well, it's a different genre). If you like DD... WEll, I'm not shure if I know any games that simillar to DD, but good RPG's in general is Planescape:Torment, Fallout 1&2 and Arcanum (my top three gbames erver btw). They're kind of old though, so graphics aren't the best. And it's turned based combat, so that part might feel slow for you. And in all three games there is loads and loads of reading (and thinking), so you might run out of patience. But if you find any of them, it's worth giving them a try, cos if you like them, you're simply going to have a great time .

Is Fallout the same one I played on PS2? That was a great game. I alos loved Baldurs Gate (both) for ps2 ... the only other game I enjoyed for PS2 was Silent Hill 2. I like pretty simple games, I kinda suck at learning combo moves.

I like your homepage..good luck with the new comp!

My next question for DD is:

I bought a house in Verdist. Can I leave stuff in the chest & it be safe?

Thx guys,

You can yes. You can elave stuff anywere you want and it will be safe. I know it's kind of lame, but that's the way it is.

And I guess it's the same game, but I don't know. As said, I recomend Planescape:Torment. The story and characterinteraction is just superior to anything I've ever played . It didn't sell well though, so I'm not shure it will be easy to find.

I'm Swede at least. Don't know about BBrandy, *Swedish, Danish and Norwegian has a lot in common, so it could more or less be any of them (less likelly it's Danish though, I think).
