I think there is the problem: there are files missing which must be installed !
Can you look on the 3rd cd and is there a file "dat.rar" which contains some ".dat" files and maybe the subdirectory "monologues" ? If so the you must extract the "dat.rar" into the "dat" direcotory !

I have only one solution for you: remove your installed installation and install on the manual way (not tte hard disk installation procedure !). I don't know which files are missing

Because i have far too much problems with 9.3 but i forgot that i lended my cd's of SuSE, so i am bassicly stuck with it for a while. That is not bad, so i will search a little further about my problem Now i know what the problem is: SuSE 9.3 automounts the cd's ;; no problem there but instead of /media/cdrecorder it mounts at /media/GAME_NAME I found some interesting links about it => suse linux forums Alucard

That the game work is a good news ! That your keyboard doesn't worked is a bad news
Did you get a error message on the console where you start (at the beginning of the start) ?

Can you try it to run in the window mode ? Configuration hint: One advantage is it if you run Divinity on GNU / Linux: you must not run it in a fullscreen resolution. Just uncomment and / or correct the following two options:
* "Desktop" = "800x600" the resolution of your desktop should be the same like in Divinity * "Managed" = "Y"
You will found options above in the [x11drv] section in your local wine config file.
What want you to know about the winex installation ?

How did you start wine and winex (exactly commands please) ? Can you post your local wine config file ? and for wineX,when i reinstall, my folders are not made (Program Files etc)
With wine I would use the "wineprefixcreate" command but for winex, I don't know Is there no README file or a INSTALL file ?
