appear only, if you run <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> in the directx mode (I tested this out which a new installation of wine 20050419 and removing all wine config files) or from which wine version did you get the above error messages ?

Can you change the screen color depth to 16 bit an tell me if this work for you ?

The ati closed source driver is a driver which are developed by ATI and this driver includs a better 3D support for their graphic cards. Maybe SuSE installed this driver when you choose "3D acceleration" support ? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" />
