Benjamin, I think the problem is that you have Wine and WineX installed to the same time. As I did this a time ago I get more trouble as I expected. The problem was that if I installed WineX after Wine the result was that I couldn't run Wine anymore <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" /> After I removed Wine and WineX and reinstall Wine, Wine runs perfectly.
In the last time I installed WineX in a special way and used a special environment so that it comes not to a conflict between Wine and WineX.
I ahd only one solution for you: temoparly remove Wine and WineX, reinstall Wine and look if <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> works or not.
I have no other idea more how you can use Wine and WineX easily and at the same time <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />
